that's what his sisters thought but motley was still stuck in the nightmare with his demons. his self-harm didn't stop, they only got worse. the last thing his father had said to him was, "first you kill your mother then you put me in jail. this is your fault, i hope you're happy!" while he was relieved to not have to worry about his father anymore, he was far from happy. his parents were gone because of him, it really was his fault. his aunt and uncle had the three see a therapist but motley had a hard time opening up; it had been drilled in his head that he had deserved all of it and he believed all the terrible things that had been said about him. when he started trying to end his life was when his aunt and uncle started looking for other therapists that could help their nephew. finally, they found one; not a traditional therapist. this one looked like he should be the patient, not the doctor, with his tattoos and piercings. he was the first one motley really opened up to, and no one's really sure why it was this certain one but the people in his life were finally relieved. -- APPREHENSIVE: a very soft spoken, quiet young man whom is still haunted by demons of his past. he does not like being touched as it will likely trigger a panic attack for him. he typically avoids any kind of confrontation and is extremely submissive when it comes up. he is tremendously uncomfortable around people he doesn't know, his paranoia of people just wanting to use him or abandoning him lurking in the back of his mind. -- ARTISTIC: art is what has helped motley live with his demons. his drawings usually reflect those darker days in their style, almost resembling the art of tim burton at times. he is also talented in music, having played the violin since he was just three years old and picking up more instruments throughout his life. -- BULLIED: it started with his dad and has continued on into high school. people like to make fun of his clothing choice, his ridiculous height and scrawny build, his fringed hair, his partial blindness. he usually takes it silently and submissively, refusing to fight back or notify anyone out of pure terror. -- COMPASSIONATE: he has been through some real tough shit, things he believes he will never be able to recover from. when he sees someone in need, it reawakens a part of his youth that wanted to reach out for help but was too afraid. motley probably makes himself too available for people at times but he really can't stand to see someone in need of help not getting it. the kid would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it and he'll give you a shoulder to cry on when times are rough. -- SWEETHEART: the lanky 6'4" boy is a teddy bear. he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. he has a big heart and a desire, but a fear, of letting people in. he likes to help people in need since he's been in what felt like a hopeless place. he likes to sit around and watch movies, or play his violin, or write, or draw. he likes to see his friends smiling and would do anything to keep them happy. |
