her mother wasn't meant for the role, and natalie seemed to know she was unwanted by the woman. growing up with only a father was difficult for a girl, especially as she got older and the serious topic that needed to be discussed were a lot more awkward, but he was a good father and she grew up very loved and very spoiled and she was the most important thing in her father's life. after hearing about her mother, she had decided she didn't mind not having one and was glad to have a parent that could play both roles when needed. but all good things must come to an end. her father met a woman about the time natalie went into high school, and the two were married by her sophomore year. natalie had liked her and was even a little excited to have her as a mom, but that all changed after the marriage. her step-mom made it clear now that she didn't like natalie or want her around;
