HISTORY alexys wasn't born into despair or wealth, or any other unusual circumstances. her parents had been together since shortly before getting pregnant with their son. after he was born and fighting began, they decided to raise the boy separately instead of putting him through a dysfunctional family. however, when they got pregnant again a couple years later, the decision was made to get married. alexys had a very close bond with her brother; he was someone she trusted above all others and she knew he would always protect her. then chrissy was born and lex was no longer the baby. she played the loving big sister role happily, glad she now had someone to boss around too. shawn was a man that often worked too hard and took things too personally, which was a terrible combination with his temper. he'd come home angry more times than not and would turn that anger on his family, screaming in blind rage. it tore the family down, especially lex. afterwards, her brother noticed the effect it had on his sister and would try to repair the damage done, but it never healed the wounds left. the family moved often after lex turned six, mostly cycling between colorado and nevada. living in sketchy neighborhoods, their mom decided to home school the three kids to keep them safe from the dangers of the nearby public schools. right before entering her first year of being a teenager, the family moved back to nevada, but didn't move to arcadia for another two years. once in arcadia, mike went back to public school, always having been the more social one and he was now growing up and wanted. lex had always been shy, and now the seclusion from outside social interaction made it worse. she stayed in homeschool until graduating five months early. it took a year off for her to decide what she wanted to do with her life before determining to going to college. Family shawn roberts, 48, av specialist melody roberts, 45, pharmicist micheal roberts, 25, landscaper chrissy roberts, 16, n/a karthus, kitten; nocturne, corn snake LOVE LIFE alexys has previously been in two relationships, as she takes dating very seriously. her first relationship wasn't very good for her since it was started on the basis that the guy only wanted to sleep with her, but it lasted a very long and unhappy year. the boy after him was innocent enough but the relationship wasn't started or continued for the right reasons on her behalf. now, she's is dating the misunderstood phoenix ward.

Wow. Alexys is a really well written character. It sounds like she had a rough childhood and doesn't have a very good relationship with her Dad. Hopefully her life is headed down a better path now that she's trying to change it. As a civilian in this dangerous city I hope she gets out ok! The streets aren't a safe place for such a delicate girl. Go do your claims and shipper!
